IF YOU CAN'T MANAGE TO SPONSOR

If you can't to sponsor on your own and you don't have any one to share it with, this is not the end.  Why not be a advocate, do funding raising, or a sponsored or just give a small amount each month and be a part of the children, widows, teachers and pastors sponsorship that we take on ourselves at GNFM.

What makes GNFM sponsorship program unique?

Well, we feel that because the need for help in India is so great and so varied, we need to work with grass root ministries, pastors and groups to help as much as we can.  One way to tackle this is having sponsorships for children, widows, pastors and teachers. This is not all we do, we also have programs to help ex-leprosy people and girls at risk plus our outreach ministry which we minister in all we do. You can find these at our India mission pages by clicking HERE

SPONSOR A CHILD

According to UNICEF, India has more malnourished children under the age of five than any other country in the world. Many thousands never get the chance to attend school or even learn to read and write, GNFM child sponsorship program gives hope, love, and life's essentials to some of these children. Every child sponsored will go to school and get an education.

ADOPT A PASTOR

Why do we need to sponsor pastors?  Well they get no help from the government and because these pastors in remote areas come from villages where all the people are so very poor themselves and cannot give much or anything in the offerings. Many have to try and depend on work, but again Christian pastors are looked down on and go to the bottom of the list for any work that comes available. So GNFM feel there is a great need to find sponsors for them and their families.

SPONSOR A WIDOW

When Indian women are widowed--even those from the middle classes--their social and economic status is affected. Sadly, women in this situation often do not have the means or ability to find employment. They are reduced to second-class citizenship within Indian society. As a result, they become poorer and often lose self-respect in the process. As our pastors go into the villages to preach the gospel, they see many widows who are begging on the streets, some of them are not able to have even one meals a day.we need to take them under our wings and help them.

SPONSOR A TEACHER

The government of India mandates a public education for all children. But to this day, the government has not provided enough schools or teachers, especially in remote rural areas. Teachers supported through GNFM  Sponsorships teach in remote, rural communities. Some children may have to walk for many miles to get to school in a built up area, then even if they can get to these schools, they have to buy books, uniforms etc, and these poor people cannot do this so keep them at home. This is where GNFM sponsored teachers come in, they go and teach in these village home made schools.

If we can have Christian teachers going in to teach these children how to read and write and show them the love that comes from Jesus, what a world of difference this is going to make. Praise God.
